MISSION To create a tourism website and app for my hometown.
DESIGN OBJECTIVE The goal for this project was to create a user-friendly and interactive website and app to help attract tourists to my hometown of Fremont, California. My design strategy was to use fresh graphics and colors, a minimal modular grid, and monochromatic imagery of main attractions for visual appeal.
The Fremont Coordinates app is a tool used to help locate main attractions in the area. It has a convenient filter feature by season and activity. When you tap on an event, a stylized map appears for easy GPS navigation and more detailed information about the location.
